They Tried To Go Over

They’ve Tried To Go Under

They Even Tried Going All Way Round

But They Can’t Get Past The Gate’s Bounds

They Tried Battering Rams

They’ve Tried To Pull It Down

They’ve Tried Fire & Water; Wind & War …

Yet They Can’t Get Thru The Gate So Far

They’ve Looked For Cracks – Antics

They’ve Used Earthquake – Tactics

They’ve Tried To Pry & Pick At The Lock

They Cannot Breach Gate – Bottom Or Top

They’ve Tried To Barricade & Block

To Keep Gate From Getting Stocked

They’ve Tried To Mock It, Knock It & Even Shock

But Can’t Rip Gate From Foundation–Rock

My Gate Was Given To Me By GOD

None Else Can Run Thru It Or Heavily Trod

So Blow & Blast … This Gate Won’t Open

Until Sacred Password Is Truly Spoken

My Grateful Gate … Is Guarded By GOD

With Flaming Sword & Lightening Rod

Its Path Is Narrow; It Is Not Broad

None Can Push Thru It, Nor Prod …

My Gate Is Prettily Latticed With Flowers

My Gate Is Patrolled All Through Hours

My Gate’s Pennants Breezily Towers

From Heaven – It Gets Its Portal Powers

Gate Is Strong Bars & Rainbow–Domed

Made Of Blue Steel & Diamond–Stone

Its Hinges Are Oiled; It Doesn’t Moan

My Gate Is … Its Wall’s Key Song

It Pivots Reaching Out, Not In

So Good Can Enter, But Lets Out Sins

In Case Its Fooled By Slick/Sly Men

GOD Slams It Shut – On All Pretends

So Gate’s Not Trespassed Or Out-Cast

Like It Was Once, In Its Unlatched Past

Before Gate Learned Self-Regulation

Of Password Only – Invitation
