The Family Stands Strong

Against Every Attack

Facing Threats ‘Til Gone

Fighting Back To Back

The Family Gathers Round

In Shared-Commitment

Protects Its Ground

With Cared-Contentment

The Family Stands Tall

Withstands Intruder Floods

Life-Boats – One & All

… Same Flesh n’ Blood

Family’s Vital Function

Is Base-Camp Unit

Enforces Sanction

Foes Cannot Move-It

The Family Stronghold

Wrestles Every Enemy

It Will Not Fold

In Crashed Economy

The Family’s Fortress

Armory Is Full

Each Member Watches

Precious Family Jewels …

(of) Forgive, Faith, Forever-LOVE

Comfortable & Safe-Haven-Cove

Trust & Truth, Someone To Talk To

Gives & Gets What Each Thinks Is Due

Noisy, Nosy, May Get On Nerves

But Loyalty & Lift-Ups Never Swerves

Celebrates & Voices Family Values

Tries To Find Normal Thru All Bad News

Also Work & Playing Together

In Fair or Rude-Awakening Weather

Dependent & Also Independence

Remembers Deceased & Descendants

and If Sometimes Injured Silence

and Must Patrol In Self-Reliance

or If Its Too Quiet On The Homefront

Brave Soldier of Life Don’t Give-Up !

Teenage Angst & Acceptance

Parents Must Recall Its Relevance

& Young & Old – Always Inclusion

To Sharp-Shoot Any Confusion

Real Peace & Parts of A Whole

Family-Belonging – Is Pure Gold

Sometimes Taken For Granted

but Family Is Best Place On Planet !

These Make Up A Family’s Fortune

In Their Own Backyard-Hearts-Room

& Should Any Wolves Come To Their Door

They Get Chased Away Same As Before

The Family Fortress

Guards The Family’s Jewels

It Keeps Out Hate’s Presence

and Thieves and Fools

The Family Stands Strong

Against Every Attack
